Roots
Roots Rock Climbing is hosted, not run by a company. Before this, our founder spent three years as a fishing manager at two of Mexico's premier fly-fishing lodges, and nearly a decade working alongside a leading field-studies educator across Mexico. That same hands-on hosting — knowing the land, knowing the people, keeping groups small — is what shapes every retreat here.

Our Mision
Our mission is to create grounded climbing retreats that connect people to movement, place, and community.
Through thoughtfully hosted experiences in Jilotepec, Mexico, we provide climbers with the space, support, and rhythm needed to focus on climbing, share meals, and experience the landscape beyond the rock.
Our basecamp is a rustic, family-run ranch located in the town of Polotitlán, State of Mexico. Built with local materials and a simple, welcoming design, it offers a comfortable place to rest and gather after long days of climbing.
